AIR ON AIR

Spindly Spider
in hovering mode;
Strutting sensuously 
on Silken fold –
But
Silk or Satin
comes nowhere close –
To that Softness
In repose.

Gauzy spinster of airy dreams;
Gossamer golds and whites and creams;
Air on Air –
Nearly not, but surely there.
